There have been many applicants and it’s therefore crucial for you to confirm your participation by filling out and submitting this form before the deadline: June 18th.
If not we will replace you with the next in line.
The only way to confirm is by filling out the form below, completing your payment and submitting. You will automatically receive a receipt by e-mail, please save it.
As you know already this course is divided in 3 categories. See the list of selections.
If your name is not among Category 1 or 2 you are selected for Category 3 - many applicants from all over the world are on the reserve list for all 3 categories.

The individual repertoire for each conductor of Category 1 and 2 will be presented later. We encourage you to study and know all repertoire on the lists.
The conducting maste classes will partly be video recorded. This will be individually analyzed in separate classes/review sessions with Maestro Saraste & Gustavsson and the LEAD mentors.
Category 1 10 000 SEK, Category 2 6 000 SEK , Category 3 3 000 SEK
The course fees do not include accommodation or travel.
The course fee cannot be refunded unless a qualified substitute confirms.
The welcome meeting for the conductors is at 09:00 on Saturday 18 August at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. The final concert at the evening of Sunday, August 26th marks the end of these master classes.
There are scheduled activities for all participants every day, so it is absolutely crucial that you are present 100% of the festival period.
The detailed schedule will be presented in mid-August and any schedule questions can't be answered before that.

Accommodation and travel - Stockholm.
We know that there is a lot going on in Stockholm this period and it can be difficult to find good travel tickets and accommodation. We therefore strongly recommend that you do this as soon as possible for your own sake.
There are of course a lot of youth hostels with different quality and price levels, HERE

It is difficult to find hotel rooms in central Stockholm below 1000SEK/night but Stockholm has great public transport so it may be worth looking for places outside the city center, HERE
Obligations / insurance
Participants must declare that they are willing to create diary entries or post information on Facebook, and be prepared to give short interviews.
Aurora Music retains all rights in respect of photographic or video materials which has been created during the course or recorded at the concerts.
Participants are responsible for obtaining visas and paying visa costs.
Participants must also pay for their own insurance.
The organizers’ decisions are final. No legal recourse will be permitted; no correspondence will be entered into.
